Day 9, Level 2: Stunning light, yoga, arty connections, Inktober "Wisp" and Omaha parties!

Woke up a box of birds this morning - don't normally do that, takes a while for me to get with-it!
Must be something to do with creativity!

Went for a beach walk around 10am. OMG it was beautiful, the light was amazing - in true post-full moon style.

Lots of worky stuff to do. Did it.

At 3pm met with friends to go see new Yoga studio in Ti Point - OMG OMG OMG. What fab views. What a fab place. The universe delivered perfection to Kaye. This is the place...

And this is the view ...

Omaha - from Ti Point

Then met the lovely Annie at 5pm and we headed to Takatu Studios - a venue that artists can rent space in etc. They were showcasing the venue and artists - with food and wine and a HUGE dose of creative spirit and camaraderie. Loved it. Met some fab new people. Saw lovely art. Drank very nice local wine.

Artworks - on paper, and ceramics - by Helen

Little did I know I would forge such a connection with Lyn. But I did. Magic.

Back at home I had dinner, a few work phone calls, then Skype with Lyn in Dorset. Oh she and I sure can traverse a lot of stuff in short timeframe! All valuable, enlightening and entertaining conversation.

Amazing moonrise (full moon last night)

Today's Inktober artwork - prompt word "Wisp".

SHARE-NOTE OF THE DAY
Omaha party ...

Over the years there have been many dress-up parties. All sorts!

Here's a photo of a what seems to be a face-painting party.
Middle row from left - Mum, sister Jacqui, Dad ...

In the mid 1980s. I wasn't there (in London) but have been part of plenty of other theme/dress up parties through the years at Omaha in the "old days" and the new ones. We don't do that any more. Shame.

A number of these people are deceased. But plenty still going strong!
